The MANOR

Overview:

The Manor, a vibrant band from Bermondsey, released their track “Ibiza,” a celebration of their adventurous experiences on the iconic island. The track, paired with an energetic music video featuring the band’s wild escapades in a lavish penthouse and the nightlife of Ibiza, calls for an album cover that mirrors this bold and carefree narrative. As part of our pitch to The Manor, we proposed a concept that would visually encapsulate the essence of their story and their connection to the island.

Challenge:

The challenge was to create an album cover that reflects The Manor’s high-energy music, the party spirit of Ibiza, and the raw authenticity of their experiences. The cover had to be eye-catching, vibrant, and reflective of both the band’s bold persona and the iconic Ibiza atmosphere.

Solution:

Socials with KL proposed a dynamic and bold album cover concept designed to mirror the essence of both the track “Ibiza” and the band’s identity.

• Design Concept: We suggested using vibrant neon colours to evoke the electric and colourful atmosphere of Ibiza’s nightlife. These colours would capture the essence of the island’s bars, clubs, and glowing neon signs.

• Typography: A striking technique of repeating text was incorporated to enhance the visual impact and reflect the repetition in the music and the energy of Ibiza’s party scene.

• Visual Elements: The design would feature elements of Ibiza’s streets and club scenes, offering a snapshot of the band’s lifestyle and the essence of the island. The concept was designed to be both modern and bold, staying true to the band’s aesthetic.

This concept design serves as a visual foundation that represents The Manor’s energy and connection to the island of Ibiza. It is an artistic interpretation that speaks to the heart of the song and the band’s style.
